Terms of Service

Last updated 11 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Xerebo for use of Xeo. By creating an account you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to bind it.

1. The account

You need an accurate email address, and you are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us at tools@xerebo.com if you think someone else has access. One person, one account; do not share logins.

2. Trials and billing

  • New accounts get a free 7-day trial with no card required.
  • Adding a card during or after that trial extends it by a further 7 days, counted from the later of today and your current trial end, so adding a card early never costs you days.
  • When the trial ends the subscription bills automatically on the plan you chose, and renews each period until you cancel.
  • If a payment fails, your account moves to a short grace period and then to read-only: your data stays where it is and stays readable, but the parts that spend compute stop running until payment succeeds.
  • You can cancel at any time from billing. Cancelling stops future charges; we do not refund part-used periods unless the law where you live says otherwise.
  • Prices may change. We will give notice before a change applies to your renewal.

Payments are processed by Stripe on their hosted checkout, under Stripe's own terms.

3. Sites you may use it on

Only point Xeo at sites you own or are authorised to manage. Verifying a domain is you telling us you have that right, and we act on it: on a verified domain the crawler may fetch pages that a site's robots.txt would otherwise exclude, because you have told us the instruction is yours to give. Verifying a domain you do not control is a breach of these terms, and the consequences of it are yours.

On domains you have not verified — competitor sites we find through public search results — we fetch only what is publicly available and we honour robots.txt.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Xeo to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights;
  • generate or publish content that is deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or designed to mislead a search engine about what a page is;
  • crawl, scrape, or publish to a site you have no right to;
  • resell the service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • probe, overload, or interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on, or get around usage limits, rate limits, or access controls;
  • upload malware, or content you do not have the rights to.

5. Connected accounts and publishing

When you connect GitHub, WordPress.com, Shopify, or a Google service, you authorise us to act on that connection on your behalf, within the permissions the provider grants. For a deployment that means we read the files needed to generate a page and write the result to your repository — on a xeo/… branch, or as a pull request where the base branch is protected.

Review what gets published before it goes live. You are responsible for everything that appears on your site, including anything Xeo generated. You can revoke any connection at any time, from the product or from the provider.

6. Who owns what

  • Your content stays yours. Your sites, your business data, and the pages and code generated for you belong to you. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service — to store, process, and transmit that content, including to the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy.
  • The product stays ours. Xeo, its software, models, prompts, interface, and brand belong to Xerebo. These terms do not transfer any of it to you.
  • Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely and without owing you anything for them.

7. AI output

Xeo uses large language models to research, write, and generate code. Output can be wrong, out of date, or unintentionally similar to something else. It is a draft for you to check, not a fact and not legal, financial, or professional advice. Review and test anything you publish or deploy. We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, original, or that it will improve your rankings.

Search engines set their own rules. Nothing here is a promise about rankings, traffic, indexing, or revenue.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service up but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or retire features, and we will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on. Parts of the service depend on third parties — Google, GitHub, Stripe, our model providers — and their outages and limits will affect it.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Xeo and close your account at any time by emailing tools@xerebo.com. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or that is unpaid past its grace period. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

On termination your right to use the service ends. Ask us within 30 days if you want a copy of your data; after that we may delete it.

10. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims and costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms — in particular claims that you did not have the right to crawl, modify, or publish to a site you pointed us at.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect; continuing to use Xeo after that means you accept the new terms.
